Ohio School Counselor Conference
We are proud to announce that beginning in 2025, OSCA will be hosting the first annual Ohio School Counselor Conference. This is a departure from the All Ohio Counselors Conference that OSCA has had the priviledge of co-hosting with the Ohio Counseling Association for the last forty years. The decision to begin hosting our own school counselor specific conference was made with our members and the profession in mind. The 2025 conference will return to a Wednesday-Friday model and will continue to follow the same format as the AOCC. Pre-conference sessions will be held on Wednesday (additional fee) with breakout sessions occurring on Thursday and Friday. Please note that the Ohio Counseling Association annual conference will continue to be called the All Ohio Counselors Conference (AOCC). The new AOCC is no longer co-hosted and is intended for mental health counseling professionals.
2025 OSCC Keynote Speaker Announcement OSCA is excited to announce that the 2025 OSCC keynote speaker will be Dr. Carolyn Stone. Dr. Stone is the profession's foremost authority on school counselor legal and ethical matters. She is a past president of the American School Counselor Association and has chaired the last four revisions of the ASCA Ethical Standards. In addition to keynoting, Dr. Stone will also be offering a three-hour pre-conference session. |
