Operations Team |
OSCA operates under a philosophy known as Policy Governance, which is an idea that places responsibility upon a board of directors to set policy and establish the larger goals of an organization and operations to enact those goals while adhering to policy.
To achieve this, OSCA has an Operations Team led by an Executive Director who oversees various Directors, committees and advisory groups. The Operations Team is a fluid group that is ever evolving to meet the needs of the association in a manner that engages members in providing meaningful, targeted service to the association.
All levels of OSCA members are eligible to serve within the Operations Team. While most roles are appointed by the Executive Director, members who have an interest in engaging are encouraged to contact the Executive Director, Shawn Grime, at shawngrime@ohioschoolcounselor.org.
Professional Development exists to provide meaningful professional development opportunities to members and school counselors.
