Having a Successful First Year as a School Counselor

Description: This session is presented to graduate students who will soon be entering their first position as a school counselor. This session is also helpful for those preparing for internship as many of the recommendations are the same. The presentation will cover a range of topics to help you survive and thrive the first year. Topics covered will include working with admin, getting to know students, advocating for your role, setting up your office and more.

Additional Information: Pre-registration is required and will be open through the end of the day on March 10. A Zoom meeting link will be emailed out to all registrants the day before the workshop.
