Leading Responsible AI in Schools with Clarity and Confidence
Presenter: Jane Kim / Founder, KindEd
Description: Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping education, yet many schools lack clear guidance for responsible implementation. This session explores how AI and engagement-driven technologies affect student development, mental health, relationships, and disparate outcomes in schools. Drawing from research, developmental psychology, and lessons from rapid digital adoption during COVID, participants will gain practical frameworks to help schools approach AI with greater clarity, balance, and confidence.
Presenter Information: Jane Kim is the founder of KindEd, a social media & AI literacy program that helps students build healthy digital habits and critical thinking online. Prior to KindEd, she was an educator and instructional leader in Chicago Public Schools for nearly a decade.
