    SEEKING SCHOOL COUNSELORS for DIGITAL WELLNESS COACHING - Coaching school-age kids and their parents to have more balance in life and technology - REMOTE, PART-TIME, FREELANCE, and FLEXIBLE (TRAINING PROVIDED)

    We’re looking for caring, nurturing coaches to join our team.   

    Through positive reinforcement and a coaching technique that leads with listening and empathy, bonfire digital wellness delivers tools and strategies to foster balanced use of technology and empower families to thrive.

    bonfire digital wellness is here to help families with school-aged children: 

    • stay on-task and flourish in and out of school

    • navigate and negotiate life in a digital world

    • balance managing risks with optimizing opportunities that tech offers

    Our mission is to help families lead happier, healthier, and more productive lives through Digital Wellness. 

    We’re seeking licensed educators/social workers/counselors with the following qualifications:

    • Excellent listening skills

    • Customer service-oriented and client-focused

    • Master’s Degree and at least one year’s experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree and two years’ experience in education, support services, counseling, or coaching

    • Licensed School Counselors, LCSWs, LSW's are preferred

    • Proven experience building inclusive learning environments

    • Understanding and facilitation of learning strategies and motivational techniques

    • Excellent organizational and written and oral communication skills, including the ability to engage groups of up to 6

    • Sensitivity to parents/students with diverse backgrounds and learning needs

    • Ability to build strong working alliances with clients and staff who may hold differing viewpoints

    • Ability to hold yourself accountable to helping clients achieve their goals 

    • Commitment to bonfire digital wellness’ mission, vision and values

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide 1-to-1 and up to 6-to-1 coaching (coaching playbook and training will be provided)

    • Utilize evidence-based practices in coaching (motivational interviewing)

    • Coach students in executive function skills and balancing technology in individual or group settings

    • Maintain strict confidentiality of every interaction with clients

    • Ability to work a varied schedule with flexible hours, including some evening and occasional weekend hours

    • Develop reports and participate in the assessment of the effectiveness of coaching initiatives 

    • Stay abreast of current issues and trends through active professional development

    Compensation:

    Starting at $25/hour and up to $40/hr with quarterly performance bonuses.

    The Department of Counseling, Administration, Supervision, and Adult Learning (CASAL) at Cleveland State University is seeking culturally and academically diverse applicants of the highest caliber for the position of Assistant Professor of Practice in the Counselor Education Program beginning in August 2020. The successful candidate will be working in a premier CACREP accredited Counselor Education Program in Northeast Ohio that enrolls a diverse student body and boasts nationally recognized faculty. The newly hired Assistant Professor of Practice will teach master’s level courses in clinical mental health and school counseling areas of specialization. She, he, or they will also be expected to focus on teaching with some service.
