This session is being hosted by representatives from the Association of Child & Adolescent Counselors in Ohio. The topic will be coming soon.

Description: In this webinar, participants are invited to examine crises that arise in schools and how clinical counselors can unite forces with school counselors to provide support, collaborate, and improve the well-being of school-aged children and adolescents. Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of the crises existing in schools today, the roles and responsibilities of school counselors when those crises arise, how clinical mental health counselors can be effective collaborators, and how to support the continuity of care for school-age children and adolescents.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Examine crises in schools and understand the roles and responsibilities of school counselors to intervene.
  2. Identify the opportunities for collaboration between school counselors and clinical mental health counselors.
  3. Explore ways to improve the continuity of care for students.

Pre-registration is required and will be open through the end of the day on April 12. A Zoom meeting link will be emailed out to all registrants the day before the workshop. A CE certificate will be emailed to those in attendance after the event.

The workshop is free to OSCA and ACACO members and $10 for non-members. Please note that non-members who still have an outstanding balance will not be provided with a CE certificate.
