2012 Election Notice!

President-Elect
District Director 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, & 12

The Ohio School Counselor Association Board holds elections each spring to fill various elected positions. Any member of the association is eligible to run for a board position and interested persons are encouraged to submit their nomination materials when the call for nominations is sent out each spring. Remember that the board is a representative body of the membership and cannot exist without the support of strong leaders. Below is a break down of the election cycles for certain positions.

President-Elect: voted on each year (must have served on board to be eligible)
Treasurer: voted on every 2 years (next election will be 2013)
District Directors 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11: voted on odd-numbered years (next election will be 2013)
District Directors 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12: voted on even-numbered years (next election will be 2014)
